My approach to bodywork is rooted in the understanding that pain and dysfunction often extend beyond the area where discomfort is felt. By assessing the entire body, I look for patterns of tension, restriction, and imbalance. Throughout nearly 15 years of working with the body, I’ve found that this holistic lens has led to greater therapeutic results than focusing solely on where symptoms appear.
Central to my approach are slow, intentional techniques that engage the nervous system and support the body’s natural capacity for healing. I trust that your body knows what it needs, and by listening to what it presents, I allow that understanding to guide the work. Meaningful therapeutic work does not have to be forceful or painful to be effective. Whether working with muscular and fascial restrictions or the subtle energetic body, I approach each session with curiosity and an intention to work with the body rather than forcing change.
Each session draws from the techniques best suited to your needs, ranging from therapeutic massage to subtle hands-on and energetic work. Depending on the intention of the session, I may incorporate myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, deep tissue, relaxation techniques, cupping, gua sha, therapeutic stretching, or Reiki.
Ultimately, I’ve structured my practice to support whatever brings you to my treatment room. Whether you’re seeking relief from chronic pain, recovering from an injury, managing stress, or making bodywork part of your regular wellness routine, I believe every session should be personalized, intentional, and tailored to your unique needs.
Outside the treatment room, you’ll usually find me spending time with my pug and two cats, caring for my ever-growing collection of houseplants, reading novels and webcomics, birdwatching, or learning something new. A regular meditation and yoga practice helps me stay grounded, present, and able to bring my full attention and care to every client I work with.
